Building a community of lifelong learners!
It's an old video but it explains so much about us.
Brandon got laid off of his Hospital job one day before Airabella's 1st birthday. He was devastated and couldn't find another job for 9 full months. Suddenly we were dirt poor with 4 Autistic Kidds and no money for any of the therapies they needed. I had to take what I had learned from the therapist and specialist and run with it. We had no money for equipment so I found ways to make it work.
This video shows lots of way we learned to survive and some of the ways we provided the therapies they needed.
Since yesterday was Thunder Over Louisville, We now share this memory of Louisville Splash park
Photography is my passion. I things in my own unique way and then I get to put my images out into the world to share.

We took a day trip out past Casper Wyoming and hiked for several hours around Independence Rock State Park. It was a grand adventure that threw the kids into many new situations. Bouldering safely, hiking with minimal gear, survival education times, and so much more.
Most importantly, we had an amazing adventure together as a family. Talk about memories.
We pushed our family to finish a difficult hike so we could make it to Devil's gate by sunset. It was so worth it. At one point I realized that I was living my dreams with my family. So grateful.
We found the most precious gem of a museum tucked away on the outskirts of Casper Wyoming. So much was packed into this space. It was set up wonderfully so that our kids could explore and touch so much history in a welcoming environment. It was absolutely FREE.
So we had a full on BLIZZARD over night here in Wyoming. If you did not know yet, we have moved to Wyoming til the end of the year to do medical contract work. We will be doing 13 week contracts around the country. We are super excited for this new adventure we are doing together as a family. On this, our first assignment, we have found the snow. The kids are in heaven.
We are a special needs family with the hearts for adventure. We do our best to push ourselves as a family just out of our comfort zone and learn as we go. There are many moving parts that have to come together for not only our adventures but in our day to day lives as well. We will be sharing our YouTube story from oldest to newest here. Feel free to check it out and share what you found interesting or would uplift and help those around you.
This week is all about the amazing Ammon. We could not understand a word he said before he was 3 years old. he didn't even try to speak til 2 years old. But man on man is he smart. He turned 11 this last week. I am so happy to have this little monkey in my life. He is truly one of a kind.
Learning is easier when you have found the right tools and tips and tricks that work to focus and stimulate your child’s brain. It is so much harder to do this when your child has special needs. Learning is easier when you have found the right tools and tips and tricks that work to focus and stimulate your child’s brain. It is so much harder to do this when your child has special needs. Through out our lives we have gathered an incredible amount of knowledge of things that have worked for our kids. When I share these things, maybe we can help other families, educators and friends of special people who want to engage more with the special people in their lives.
I am pasionate about helping others learn to love their life and treat their differences as super powers they are just learning to use in a way that works for them in and out of the world. After all, our goal is to teach our children how to eventually become productive member of society so let's figure out how to have a whole lot of fun along the way.
Are you a beginner, expert, or somewhere in between? Not to worry. I know when my kids were younger and we wanted to eventually venture out into some places to stimulate their brains, I was mostly concerned about 2 things. And What can I expect once we are there? What do we do when they eventually melt down?

Are you a beginner, expert, or somewhere in between? Not to worry. I know when my kids were younger and we wanted to eventually venture out into some places to stimulate their brains, I was mostly concerned about 2 things. And What can I expect once we are there? What do we do when they eventually melt down?
We have tried to film our adventures and share them so that others can not only see the tips and tricks we use, but also what to expect when going to one of these places.
We have created our version of a Virtual Field Trip for kids, parients and friends to know what to expect from watching out experiences.
We all know there will eventually be a melt down, there Always is. This is meant to let you know some of the “Fail Safes“ We have and use when it comes to an oncoming melt down wather it be in a store, church, park or in a crowd anywhere. I have learned some tips and tricks that will give us time to use our “Exit Strategy” for the outing.
This link will take you to those resources.
